Ever since I was a little girl I have been at my most content when doing something creative. Sometimes life's ups and downs bring other priorities and for a long time I let my love for art go by the wayside.

Ever since I was a little girl I have been at my most content when doing something creative. Sometimes life's ups and downs bring other priorities and for a long time I let my love for art go by the wayside.
Pablo Picasso once said 'Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life' and for me this was the reason I once again picked up my brushes and realised just how much I love and need to be an artist.

I like to experiment with a variety of mediums including fluid acrylics and watercolour, but all of the work in my gallery are acrylic paintings.
I also enjoy the freedom of working with a palette knife as well as a brush and often combine the two in my paintings.

Inspiration is everywhere - often in unexpected places, we just have to be looking to find it.
I have a fondness for painting animals and birds, but see possibilities in everything.
Paintings can capture moments in life that are special to people & I feel privileged to be able to give that back to someone to hold on to forever.
